Yoga for Women's Health & Fertility
Partnering with Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Frank Wittmaack, MD Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:15 PM (New time) 8 - Week Session Begins August 16, 2017 Pre-register for the special price of $40 ($5 per class) OR use your class card OR $10 per class for drop-ins The health benefits of yoga for fertility include all the general benefits of traditional yoga for women plus more. What differentiates our class is which poses and practices we choose to do and not to do! In yoga for fertility, we choose to focus on the poses and practices that specifically help us prepare for ovulation, conception and pregnancy. Additional Benefits of Fertility Yoga: Increases energy and blood flow to the heart and pelvic areas, stimulates the reproductive system directly by focusing on the ovaries and uterus, strengthens the pelvic floor, reduces levels of stress hormones in the bloodstream, supports and helps to regulate the endocrine (glandular/hormonal) system, opens a two-way communication channel between mind and body, balances the feminine/masculine or yin/yang energy in the body and builds the life-force energy in the body.

Monday's schedule is: * 20 minutes of sitting meditation * 10 minutes of walking meditation * Brief teaching on using mindfulness in everyday life followed by discussion
